this is what it looks like to stop for a quickie in Nashville, a city filled with surprises and gritty nooks and crannies. make it there on a blue-sky day and it’s that much better. the smell of bbq fills the streets and you’d swear that if you look up, you’d see musical notes bouncing along with the wind, carried out of each open doorway you pass. live music is king here. there’s even a statue of Elvis on the sidewalk. here, it’s a photographer’s dream. a music-loving stop on the long ride home. and perfect to cure that hankerin’ for a hunk of (mac ‘n’) cheese. and meat.
here’s what we saw on a recent two-hour stop in the music city.
